Mobile CSP Workshop at CSTA

The Mobile CSP team (Chinma, Pauline, Jim Veseskis, and Ralph) traveled to Chicago to the 2014 CSTA Conference to present a 3-hour workshop on the Mobile CSP curriculum.

1st Annual Mobile CSP Expo is a Huge Success!

On Thursday, May 22nd, the 1st Annual Mobile CSP Expo was held at Trinity College. Students who participated in the Mobile CSP course during the 2013-2014 academic year were invited to demonstrate the apps they had created during the course. Approximately 50 students participated in the event.

Mobile CSP Students Win 1st Place!

Rep. Elizabeth Esty says, "We've got some great entrepreneurs out there!" as she announced the winners of her Congressional "Design Your Own App" Competition, also referred to as the House App Challenge. She announced the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners today.

Mobile Apps for Hartford

On behalf of the Mobile CSP team, I am pleased to announce that this summer we will launch a new program in partnership with the City of Hartford. The program, Mobile Apps for Hartford, will provide 20 high school students who have completed the Mobile CSP course, with summer employment, sponsored in part by the City of Hartford. Mobile Apps for Hartford will begin July 7th and will run concurrently with the Mobile CSP 2014 Summer PD for a total of 6 weeks.
